In The News The Royall House’s Third Annual Benefit Auction Dear Royall House Friend, We will hold our Third Annual Benefit Auction at the Royall House on Saturday, September 17 (rain date: September 18), beginning at noon. This event is a wonderful opportunity for you to help preserve a local historical treasure and, of course, find that "deal of a lifetime!" Lucky bidders in the past have gotten incredible bargains on an original Currier & Ives print, sterling silver flatware, an antique piano desk, and much more. Tonya Cameron, an active Royall House Association member and principal of Tonya A. Cameron Auctioneers, has agreed to serve again as our professional auctioneer. Tonya has a wealth of local experience managing benefit auctions and an impressive record of community service. The Antique Co-op and Auction House of Malden has also agreed to provide appraisal and administrative support for the event. You can help by donating furniture, artwork, professional services, or interesting oddities to the auction. Maybe you’ve been meaning to clean out a cluttered room or closet, or have an interesting item tucked away in the basement, attic, or garage. This is a great chance to get rid of things you can no longer use and benefit a good cause all at the same time! Simply fill out the enclosed questionnaire and return it by August 20th. We will be happy to come to you and pick up your donation.
