T A C Auctions has been commissioned to sell at auction the entire contents of a Reading MA couple. This diverse and eclectic estate is a lifelong collection of 30 plus years, with all kinds of fresh to the market merchandise including Primitive, Decorative, Country, Collectible Advertising and Vintage items. There are no reserves; no additions and items will not be cataloged for this sale.


There are so many lots we cannot list them all. The sale includes Loetz and tons of other Art Glass to be sold in lots. a Remington bronze and other bronzes, several Leaded and Slag Glass table lamps, a pair of miniature gilt floral carved Flemish frames, a carved Pennsylvania Wall Clock, reverse painted Banjo Clock, Hand Painted China, a Satsuma tea service, a marble Pedestal (believed to be once owned by the Author Booth Tarkington), a pair of Hammered Brass antique candle sconces, a pair of mirrored wall Candle Sconces, Oriental Estate Rugs, and a nice selection of Primitives and Americana items.


Items Of Interest & Collectibles: Must See: The large collection of beautiful Carved & Decoy Ducks. There are some good early ones, some signed by artists including Bryon Bruffee, Paul Brown and Maurice Isnor. Also for sale will be carved Fishing Lures, a Fire Helmet, a Lionel Train Set, a carved Miniature Cow, early Tin Litho dump trucks, early Ladies Ice Skates, a carved Black Forrest Beaver 30” and a Black Forrest Rabbit, children’s Tin Kitchen Toys, Fire Chief pedal car, early Wooden Sleigh, Yellow Ware and Mixing Bowls, and a nice Collection of Hess Trucks w/ Original Boxes, also Advertising Items. Many quilts, including a signed and dated 1886 Crazy quilt, Horse Saddle with Carved wooden stand, Cobblers Bench and Tools.


Paintings & Prints: Don’t Miss the W/C by Leroy Neiman ,1895 Landscape by S. Bissell, several old Oils on Canvas and Oils on Board, a Miniature gilt framed W/C portrait, several framed Wallace Nuttings, and Sawyers, and a reverse painted Currier & Ives print/ wall mirror, plus many more prints, etchings and more.


Fine & Quality Furniture: Also for sale a four piece ornate French Country bedroom set w/ Ormolu and Rough Marble Top night stands, bed frame, armoire and vanity, a set of eight D. R. Dimes museum quality dining chairs, two French Vitrines w/Inlaid and Leaded Glass door, a French Country dining table w/ pull out leaf, several Barristers Bookcases, a Mahogany partners desk w/ Compass Rose Inlay, several Pine Cupboards, Hitchcock Trestle and Tilt Top tables, and Side chairs, a Mahogany triple dresser w/ mirror, head and foot board and a pair of French style upholstered side chairs, plus several assorted occasional tables and chairs.
